1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the bottlist mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

bottlist is a personal cocktail bar management application that allows you to catalog your spirits and liquor collection, discover cocktail recipes, and generate AI-powered recipe suggestions based on your inventory. The App is intended for adults of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction.

bottlist does not promote or encourage excessive alcohol consumption. You are responsible for consuming alcohol responsibly and in compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction.

3. Eligibility

You must be of legal drinking age in your country or jurisdiction to use this App. By using bottlist, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who misrepresent their age.

4. User Accounts

Access to bottlist requires authentication via your mobile phone number. We use a one-time passcode (OTP) system delivered via SMS. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your phone number and any access to your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its related systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Upload or transmit any malicious code or harmful content
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to bottlist, including bottle information and notes. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display that content as necessary to provide the service.

7. AI-Generated Content

bottlist uses artificial intelligence to generate cocktail recipes and bottle identification suggestions. AI-generated content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or safety of AI-generated recipes. Always exercise your own judgment when preparing and consuming cocktails.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, graphics, code, and content (excluding user-submitted content), is owned by bottlist and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BOTTLIST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via SMS. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
